continuous random casts

How have you been, Gossip Girl?

Hehee I have not touched a single episode of GG for a long long time, since S04e12 perhaps, I don’t even remember the exact place where I stopped watching that series. People would ask me why why why, and I can never give an appropriate answer. Since I was once addicted to GG, I now become so ignorant when it comes to something near that. All the gossip-ing, the sex-ing, the drama-ing, they all seem so lame now. Not so interesting! Only the fashion, which is very attractive, is in some way un-follow-able because of the pricing/catwalk style/improper setting.

Oh well, never mind, I’d rather trail along impractical and entertaining Korean dramas than tag along some never-ending-drama-circle series like GG. I have to admit I really like Chuck Bass (the character) and most of the cast. Yet I really don’t like how to story goes on and on about how this couple come together and break off then he/she would get together with his/her best friend… Stupid life! Or is that normal American swanky class???
This ??? (which definitely seems cooler to me)
This OR

Hmmm, what else happened within these few days?
Not much of me lately (as I can recall). On the other hand, my brother is now at the middle of his fight, ah I mean his exam. Hahahaha. Am I a little exaggerating here? Well a little yes! But it’s a matter of life and death here ok! It’s that important you know.

As we already went through something, only could we understand how remarkable that means to our life. At that early stage, I doubt my brother could thoroughly see the importance of this exam. That makes me even more anxious for him… But you know, you trip and slip, so you’ll learn your lesson. Is that right? Absolutely!

And now, moving on to the skin issue, my huge concern and interest!! My skin has been in a very slowly improving progress. I’ve been using lemon toner for 10 days, and I notice my face does not look dull and darker in the morning as when I used ACV toner. So that’s quite something. On the other hand, I am currently in a state where I run out of my favorite ginseng mask and I won’t be purchasing it for now, since I want to give the oatmeal & royal jelly mask combination a try. We’ll see how that goes in a few weeks time. As of for now, I still have some small acnes here and there on my face, yet the whole complexion still looks bright, which is supportive. Haha!

So to end this entry, what can I say? Haha, I’ll be studying tonight. Is that ok? Or even relevant? No! L-O-L <3

1 more thing, the thunder is soaring outside, promising a restless weekend. Huhuhuhuhu..........

since we could only live once...

So I thought I would be posting this entry on Friday. Yet once again stuffs got me stuck around and delayed this post till today, which is 2 days after. Oh dear, how more dawdle can I be!!!!

Oh wait there’s worse… I am still soooooooo behind on my schedule and study plan. Huhu. Seriously, procrastination is an inherent part of mine! How awful is that!!!!!!!! *HUGGGGEEEEEEE SIGH***

This past week was the second full week of mine working at NTSIP. Many more issues had been known of, and I think those are the normal stuffs at office so I don’t really mind much about them all, as long as they leave me alone doing my stuffs! Hahaha. I know that is not an easy case here, since life is so unpredictable. But who kills you for hoping the best rite? Well, I know I know…

Ok, now, move on to some updates, shall we?
Yesterday our family went to a farewell party of Tuan Le, who is leaving for master degree in Australia in 10 days. I don’t know how to describe this feeling of me, but I was thinking “Wow some of us are going to be a master. Well well well… And what about me!!!!”.

Later, I couldn’t help but wonder, we all live our own lives and go our own ways. People have their choices rite? Looking at Minh and Hip and Tuan and myself sitting together and talking about what we’ve been through and how life’s gonna be, I suddenly realize it’s not about what we SHOULD do, it’s all about what we WANNA do!

If each of us could have two or more chances to live, then it’ll be easier choosing or making mistakes. But since we have only one shot living this life, I figure we should just go for our dreams, so later we wouldn’t have to regret we never got enough courage to fight for our aspirations.
Is that right?

Yes of course that is. I am still so young, only 22. I should go after my desire, and wouldn’t have to live in resentment the rest of my life for not taking the chance to pursue it!
Sometimes we really need a little cheer-up thought like this, since people around us may not be able to understand, or may not even have time to notice. How does that matter if people are ignorant and objective to you? No it does not. You take the leading hand in your own life and what you achieve tomorrow begins today.

Anh Le, a very talented friend of mine, once said: “Winner never quits, and quitter never wins.” One loses the moment he gives up :)

what we do
what we eat

new week starts with clear complexion

Over the weekend, I had a chance to experiment a job of parenting. It was not easy, of course! It was tiring…
Anyway, on to the story shall we? My brother was to take the high school exam on Saturday and Sunday last week. So I need to take him to the exam site in the morning then in the afternoon, and pick him up after he finished each test. Oh dear, the site, which was VNU in Xuan Thuy, was really far from our house. I could either take him there, go back, go pick him up, then back again; or I could take him there, wait until he finishes, then go back altogether. In the end, it took me almost whole full day just fulfilling that ‘parenting task’ alone. Well well well!!! After all I could help out my brother by making his exam less tiring in the best way that I could, not that it is not tiring already! Luckily, I did not look like this:

Nevertheless, due to the duty, I could not almost get to touch the plan or anything near it. Am I to be blamed? Yesss well I guess! I admit that I was pretty lazy, although that was my thing and I gotta finish my stuffs. But then you know, when you’re too preoccupied with something, your brain seems to just automatically shut down when it comes to any other irrelevant issues – lol. Haha, or it could be me only? Anyway, that was how I react to any other matters around, including my own! What more of a weirdo can I be!!! I know. But it’s alright. As long as I can do something helpful for my brother, it’s alright. Hehe J
What else happened during the weekend? Not much. I got a chance catching up with Tuan Le. Chatting over coffee in the morning and wandering around The Garden in the afternoon, all in all, were fun. It has been a while since we talked. And he is moving to Australia very soon, in like 2 weeks time I think, to start his master and his career. Yeah well, so this could be the last chance of us getting together hanging out (while waiting for the brothers’ exam) before he leaves. So be it, we had the most amusement watching the JYJ fanclub dancing and shouting and doing ‘crazy fan’ stuffs. Haha…

Later that day, I got to think of how and what we are going to be in 3 years, or 5 years, or even 10 years? It does sound a little like “Friends Forever” by Vitamin C, doesn’t it?

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track

So if we get the big jobs
And we make the big money
When we look back now
Will our jokes still be funny?
Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there?
Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us 'round?

The song is dedicated to the graduation occasion, when students are filled with excitement of moving to the new stage in life while are also nostalgic about the past. The hesitation, the enthusiasm, the preoccupation… Although we are not at a stage where the graduation is just around the corner, where we are at now is pretty similar in terms of concerns and emotions.

This week I’ll be doing some study and schedule planning. Then I’ll update if I could complete the tasks. For now, not much I can say, since I have not done much or cannot think clearly. My brain seems to not be working properly these days. Oh dear! Fortunately, today is Monday and it seems like work is starting to be quite leisured now that I already know the basic stuffs. Therefore perhaps I could use some time at work to do my own stuffs. L-O-L. Not that it is allowed at work, it is just the reason why I chose this job. Eh hemm...
Oh one more thing: my skin is clear of cysts now! Hurrayyyyyyyy!!!!!!! Muahahahahahaaa :X I am so happy that the surface is smooth again, no more cystic attack! Yay me!!!!!! Not that my complexion is perfectly gorgeous now, yet the fact that my skin has a smooth surface just really really really makes me super proud :X
I was not born with perfect skin, I have worked really really hard for it! And you know what, even though I still have some scars left on the cheeks and chin, I have no problem with that since I know I have some ways to fade those away gradually and that makeup can provide me medium to full coverage. Muahahahahaha :X Great! Hopefully I don’t get a new cyst popping up after I write this entry. Keke. I made this new lemon toner (recipe by Elisa Sung); since the apple cider vinegar toner, which I thought worked wonder at minimizing my pores, appears to darken my skin tone in the long run (perhaps it's the combination of green tea and ACV that makes my face looks darker in the morning). Therefore I'll give this lemon toner a try for a little while then review it afterwards.

As if for now, that’s it! Stay tune for more updates xoxo Gossip Girl ~ nah kidding :X

babbling, mostly about skin... haha =)

Ok so it’s been like nearly another month since the last entry. Again, I do neglect my blog for a while (not that I want to do that so desperately, but still…). However, on the bright side, this “while” is much much shorter than the previous one (like 1/6 times shorter) muahahahahahazzzzzz :X lol. So, me should be getting some cheering for that too! Hehe.
On to the matters, shall we?

Since I cannot think of one whole proper topic to talk about, I am just going to mention few things that are relevant to my recent daily life:
-          I quitted the T company at the middle of May and got work off for about half a month. Then when I was about to start going crazy over my re-umemployment, I got a new job, thanks to Mon. Now I am working as a secretary (actually at the office typing this :D) from 8 to 5 officially with some over-time occasionally and a basic salary that seems quite ok to my current expectation. Neither too good nor too bad. After all, all I need now is just a job that could cater me and supply me with my basic needs, since I still need to focus more on to the STUDY section.
-          I got my skincare regimen fixed now that I don’t buy any more products. Hahahaha. I stated already right? I would start saving and stop spending on skincare products for a while until… (don’t know when). La la la la la. Oh dear, my skin has not met the condition that I expect (clear of acne and faded scars and controllable oil – lol that sounds a lot to ask for). To be exact, some cysts still pop up here and there from time to time, my skin looks dull after a day of work (wearing makeup and oil and dirt and all that shit), and it turns to an oil-pan (mostly T-zone) in the morning when I wake up. Yet the texture of the complexion has amazingly improved, thanks to the ginseng jelly mask. I am very very satisfied about that. However, I don’t think I would continue using that product, since (1) I started saving (lol!) and (2) I do not trust that using the mask for a continuously long period would do good for my skin in the long run. Also I have done quite a bit of research on skincare and skin issues for the time being. Hahahaha. It was a frustrating year last year (for everything, but my skin was either no. 1 or 2 of top 5 issues). Now I thoroughly understand how much important it is to take very good care of my skin in order to stay acne-free, shine-free and worry-free! Hehe. Today I also heard about a method of using stem cells for skincare. Well I saw some amazing results, but I cannot say much now, as I do not have many knowledge about this approach yet. I'll do some research about it over the weekend. Ok! Enough about the skin. L-O-L. Every single time I start talking about skin issue, I cannot stop!!! Should I make a beauty blog too? Haha…

-          So far I have not yet been diligently dedicated to my own work. I am regularly distracted by surrounding stuffs. Well that does not sound very good. I guess I should just rearrange things in my life again.
-          Within this 2 last weeks I have been hanging out with my old-friends from college quite often. Then I got to think about how us girls have all different perspectives and choices. Then how we got together, talking and sharing about different issues in our lives. Those were pretty interesting time catching up with the old folks. Moreover, reuniting with them reminded me a lot of NZ and my precious grown-up there. I nearly cried looking at all the pictures that capture all those oh-so-familiar places I once were a part of… However, the past cannot be an ankle that holds me back. Moving on to the next stage of my life, I am sure I will come back again NZ!
I gotta go do some jobs for the office now. I promise I'll post blogs often from now. How often? I don't know yet. Hahahaha...
